Philippa Sjoquist is a multidisciplinary professional with more than 17 years of experience in mining and metals, including site-based operations and global corporate roles. She is an advocate for low-intensity materials production, responsible resource management and has a keen interest in the circular economy.

Philippa is currently the co-chair of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) Circular economy working group and Deputy Chair of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) Social & Environment Committee.

Philippa has a Bachelor of Environmental Management, a Masters of International Environmental Law and an MBA that combines the business of mining with advancements in energy productivity. She is a Graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course
