As a geologist, Rene has worked in exploration, resource development and mining, across different commodities, mineralization styles, and on every continent. He is a Fellow and Chartered Professional.

Rene is managing director of RSC, a global geological consulting group, and a founder and technical director of opaxe.com, a digital mining data intelligence platform. He is also chair of the board of Transition Minerals, an exploration company with interests in the northern territories.

Rene has held directorships on not-for-profits, and is on the board of Straterra, New Zealand’s voice for the Mining and Exploration industry. Rene has completed Company Director’s, Business Management, Governance, and Finance courses.
