Reconciliation Action Plan

Reconciliation Action Plan

AusIMM strives to nurture opportunities for First Nations people, professionals, organisations and communities through the work of our staff, members and industry partners in the sector.

In Australia, our vision for reconciliation is to strengthen the relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous people through the resources sector.

AusIMM’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) builds on the foundations of our 2021 Reflect RAP. The Innovate RAP outlines an elevated approach to advance reconciliation through the leadership of our staff and professional communities.

The RAP cover artwork “Journey of Influence” by Sarah Richards is inspired by the central theme of connectedness.

The five circles, intersecting the central element, represent the five dimensions essential for fostering genuine reconciliation: unity, institutional integrity, equality and equity, race relations, and historical acceptance.

You can read more about Sarah’s work in our RAP.

AusIMM acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work, meet and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, traditions, stories and songlines of change.
