Upholding standards and promoting professional best practice is a key focus for AusIMM

By promoting the highest professional and ethical standards, we support industry and government to advance mining innovation and excellence for the benefit of the resources workforce and wider community.

We play a leading role through the development and promotion of JORC and VALMIN professional codes, we are represented on the Standards Australia Council and key technical committees, deliver an ongoing Chartered Professionals Program and continue to lead through our Code of Ethics and Social Responsibility Statement.

What does success look like?
