Queensland is ready to unlock the next resources boom in critical minerals and put our resources to best use.

With the world demanding and making the shift towards a cleaner, greener low-emission economy, vast amounts of critical minerals will be needed to build the wind turbines, the solar panels and storage batteries required for decarbonisation.

Queensland is home to some of the world's richest mineral deposits – including copper, vanadium, silica and tungsten – and has many unique advantages.

We are already working with investors, industries and communities here and across the globe to unlock our unlimited resource potential, build world first technologies and create good local jobs.

We want to continue building on this momentum.

The Queensland Critical Minerals Prospectus showcases projects ready for investment at various stages – connecting investors with the right information and right people at the right time.

Backed by a dedicated office – Critical Minerals Queensland – and an online Critical Minerals Investor Hub, we are making it easy to do business in Queensland.

It is about acting now to secure Queensland’s future.

This investment tools are a result of the Queensland Critical Minerals Strategy and our ambition to not just explore and mine these resources but also to process and manufacture the renewable energy, defence and medical technologies the world needs.

Importantly, this bold strategy oversees $315 million in initiatives to move faster and smarter, maximise investment, build value chains, and foster research and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) excellence.

There is a lot on offer in Queensland and there is no better time than now to invest in Queensland’s critical minerals and take the next step in what promises to be an industrial revolution.
