About the Education Endowment Fund
Paving the way for
mining excellence since 1989
The Education Endowment Fund (EEF) holds a rich history, dating back to its formal creation and signing of the Trust Deed on February 22 1989. Throughout the years, the EEF and AusIMM has been a driving force behind advancing education and research within the mining industry. Its core aims are firmly rooted in shaping a brighter future for both aspiring students and the mining community as a whole.
Each year the Board of Trustees has provided scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students, offering financial assistance and exemplary professional development opportunities, supporting them to complete their studies and embark on a successful career in the mining industry.
We offer two streams of scholarships, available to Australian citizens or perminent residents enrolled at an Australian university. Our Premium Scholarships; available to undergraduate students, and our Research Scholarships; available for postgraduate students.
