The Education Endowment Fund (EEF) Premium undergraduate scholarships are valued at over $20,000 each in their first year of offer. This esteemed annual scholarship is awarded to approximtly 12 individual, offering financial support, career building mentorship and an all expenses paid field trip to a mineral rich region in Australia.

If you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident student determined to reach your potential, develop leadership qualities, expand your knowledge and network in the mining sector, an EEF scholarship is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your mining career and get paid while you study.

The scholarship prizes include:
  • Significant financial support of up to $11,000 annually throughout your studies,
    • with the execption of the annual Sir Frank Espie/Rio Tinto Leadership Award recipient/s receive a stipend of $15,000 per annum.
  • Career-building tailored mentoring from seasoned industry professionals, valued at $5,000.
  • An exciting opportunity for an all expenses paid one-week intensive field trip to a mineral rich region in Australia.
  • Comprehensive support to develop invaluable personal and professional skills that will elevate your career trajectory.

Mentor program

Scholars are matched with an industry mentor tailored to their talents, aptitude, and interests, valued at $5,000.

Annual stipend

Scholars receive significant financial support of up to $11,000 annually throughout their studies.

Annual field trip

Scholars attend an all expenses paid one-week intensive field trip to a mineral rich region.

Comprehensive support

Scholars will receive the support to develop invaluable career building personal and professional skills.
