Australian students  

Open to Australian citizens and permanent residents enrolled in mining-related programs, we award approximately 12 scholarships annually to individuals who show dedication, leadership potential, and a commitment to advancing their place within the resources industry.

1. Australian citizen or permanent resident

To be eligible for the undergraduate scholarship, you must be an Australian citizen or hold permanent residency.

2. Enrolled in a related program

You must be enrolled in a program of study at an Australian university relevant to the mining industry, demonstrating your commitment to the field.

3. Minimum one year of tertiary study

You should have successfuly completed at least one year of tertiary study, showcasing a dedication to academic excellence.

4. Be an AusIMM Student Member

All undergraduate applicants must be an AusIMM Student member.

5. Showcase a Determination for Excellence
