Fellow grade FAQs

  • Professionals with a degree qualification and at minimum of ten years’ experience in the resources sector, at least five years of which have been at senior management or executive level; OR
  • Have held a position of senior responsibility for a period of at least 15 years and during which have achieved distinction through personal contribution to science or industry.

AusIMM Fellow membership is an annual 12-month membership fee of $630 (incl GST) for Australian residents. Plus a one-off application fee of $77 is charged when joining. View membership fees here.

Complete our online application form

You will need to provide:

  • A certified copy of your tertiary degree in English (if relevant)
  • A copy of your resume or LinkedIn profile URL showing at least ten years’ experience in the resources sector
  • A completed summary and statement of senior experience
  • Copy of your Passport or Drivers Licence photo identification
  • Names and contact details of three referees* (two of whom must be current Fellow Members)

*these referees must be professionals who have personal knowledge of the applicant. Acceptable professionals include Members & Fellows of the AusIMM or of any other professional association whose members are bound by a code of ethics; professionals authorised to witness Australian Commonwealth statutory declarations; and their international counterparts.
