Announcing AusIMM’s 2022 Conference Charity Partner

We are pleased to announce AusIMM’s 2022 Conference Charity Partner as Rural & Remote Mental Health.

Rural and Remote Mental Health delivers early intervention and prevention based mental health programs Australia-wide. The organisation champions proactive and preventative initiatives for rural and remote communities, and demonstrates a commitment to practical outcomes.

Rural and Remote Mental Health play a significant role in supporting people working in mining, resources and quarrying operations confronted by a wide range of challenges, including to their mental health and emotional well-being. Their Resource Minds program raises awareness and understand, reduces stigma, helps people to recognise problems in themselves, family and workmates and encourages everyone to take responsibility for their own mental health by talking to someone and seeking help early. 

We appreciate everyone for taking the time to vote and supporting our conference charity partner program this year. We also would like to thank our keynote speakers from our 2022 AusIMM Conferences who are kindly donating their speaker fees so we can support the work of Remote & Rural Mental Health.
