Fiddler’s Reef underground gold mine tour
Join the Central Victoria Branch, Melbourne Branch & WIMnet Victoria for a site visit to Fiddler's Creek Reef mine site.
About this event
At the Fiddler’s Creek site, guests will hear a presentation covering the current-day mine, mining history, mineralisation and geology.
The underground mine tour will involve descending into the newly developed decline that has now intersected the first ore heading, having a first-hand look and discussion underground, then returning to the surface. This development is newly completed since the mine was re-opened in late 2024 by Core Prospecting.
