About this event

The AusIMM Illawarra Branch invites you to join us at our premier networking event for 2024 as we welcome AusIMM President Nicole Brook, FAusIMM, returning to our region.

From Underground Coal Miner to Board Director: Lessons Learned, AusIMM President Nicole Brook will talk about her remarkable journey from working in the depths of a coal mine to sitting at the boardroom table. She will highlight key lessons learned along the way, and how they might apply to the resources professional of the future.

Her inspiring story will leave the audience with a renewed motivation to pursue their own career aspirations, no matter how ambitious they may seem, and an understanding of the role of the AusIMM in supporting professionals in the industry, now and into the future.
