Join the Metallurgical Society for their November webinar: Maximising gold recovery with staged improvements in flotation, grinding and leaching.

About this event

Gold operations increasingly face a performance obstacle as their recovery deteriorates when their deposit transitions from Oxides through to Sulphides.

Glencore Technology has developed approaches to enable these operations to adopt a staged approach to improving the concentrates delivered, minimising the capital investments before a return, and enabling significant improvements whilst also opening up opportunities to maximise available feed.

Broadly, the model suggests a two or three stage progression from flotation, through fine grinding to leaching. Each stage delivers improvements and allows flexibility in feed.

And ultimately, the sales performance of the operation, and its life of mine, can be significantly improved.
