Webinar: Slurry density measurement - Alternatives to radiation
Join the Metallurgical Society for their April webinar: Slurry density measurement - Alternatives to radiation.
About this event
The most common slurry density measurement method used in industry is based on radiation based measurement techniques. This technique requires significant safety measures and controls, and at a high cost. Ultrasonic techniques have been developed in recent years, enabling slurry density measurement without the need for radiation sources. This technique offers several advantages and disadvantages over radiation techniques.
In this webinar Dr Timo den Hartog will explore the science behind different slurry density measurement methods, both radiation and ultrasonic techniques. In addition, the history of the ultrasonic technique and the developments in recent years will be explored.
