About this event

Over the past 28 years, our speaker Paul Burton, has been working with Instrumentation and Monitoring for the mining industry, alongside major infrastructure and natural hazards.

Paul will lead with a presentation highlighting the key developments that have taken place over this period, while also exploring the current landscape and what the future may hold. Paul will also open up the floor for a conversation, inviting the audience to share their challenges and explore new possibilities.

Paul is the Chief Executive of Geotechnics and Project Director for a variety of projects in New Zealand and the Pacific region. He is currently the Secretary for the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Technical Committee – Field Monitoring in Geomechanics.
