Join the AusIMM Sydney Branch for their February tech talk: Nuclear in Australia - What are the opportunities and challenges?

About this event

Nuclear power is experiencing a resurgence as many countries grapple with a zero-carbon energy transition. Such is the importance of nuclear power that no less than 30 countries at COP29 have recognised it to be an integral part of the zero-carbon solution, with many nuclear countries pledging to triple nuclear power by 2050.

But how did nuclear power develop and where is it heading?

Join the AusIMM Sydney Branch with their speaker, Jasmin Diab, to hear an open and truthful discussion on the nuclear fuel cycle.
