Managing employees in a complex world: Dealing with bad behaviour, managing psychosocial risks and conducting investigations
Join the Sydney Branch and WIMnet NSW for their December tech talk: Managing employees in a complex world: Dealing with bad behaviour, managing psychosocial risks and conducting investigations.
About this event
As we approach 2025, employers are facing new challenges as recent regulatory updates extend employers obligations to safeguard employee mental health and wellbeing. This involves taking reasonably practicable steps to prevent harm from psychosocial hazards, such as unreasonable work demands, poorly designed work, and lack of support systems.
Despite heightened expectations from regulators, many workplaces still have room to improve their approach to health and wellbeing. As mental health workplace risks can be complex and intangible, it is important for businesses to be aware of these and how the new laws are being interpreted.
Come and join the AusIMM Sydney Branch, AusIMM Women in Mining NSW and our hosts for the evening, Baker McKenzie, the first truly global law firm, as they help us navigate the myriad of complex issues involved with Respect@Work's laws.
