Mine Technical Services Manager, Ernest Henry Operations, Evolution Mining
Erin manages a technical team of Mining engineers, geologists, geotechnical engineers, planners and surveyors in North-West Queensland at Evolutions Ernest Henry mine. She previously worked as the Open Pit Mine Manager at Mt Rawdon Operations working through the closure of the mining operation. She has a Masters in Geotechnical Engineering, with a background primarily in underground caving mines. She has experience in many different aspects of mining, from the study phase of open pit Iron Ore mines, through to mine design and operational environments, re-starting the Oyu Tolgoi Block Caving project in Mongolia, construction of the decline, large excavations and shaft sinking, and most recently coming full circle with the closure phase of mining at Mt Rawdon. Erin has led Mobile Maintenance, Operations and Technical teams in Australia and overseas and has a passion for mentoring and development of her teams.
