Join WIMnet NSW for their Roulette Networking Event in Orange.

About this event

Bring a friend and join the Central West WIMnet’s Roulette Network Event for Women and Men in Mining and Industry in the Central West.”

WIMnet NSW is holding a series of three informal Networking Events to be held at three different Central West NSW venues; the first in Orange November 2024. The purpose of the ‘Roulette” is to capture as many different people as possible allowing for different shifts and work arrangements to promote attendance.

The events themselves will be set up with the 'Roulette’ theme. We will have a series of table stations which the attendees can be moved between. Each station will be set up with a numbered question card, where the host of the evening can draw a number which will be the number on the card those at the table will discuss. The questions cards will have a series of questions or topics geared towards allowing the participants to get to know each other.

The aim of having this structure is to promote fun while relaxing the participants and providing them the opportunity to network without having the pressure of approaching a stranger to start a conversation as we will be starting the conversation for them.

The event will be catered with canapes and drinks to keep it relaxed and informal.
