It was wonderful to meet everyone in person and discuss ongoing and future projects. Of particular interest was the financial support from both the Australian and American governments to advance these initiatives, boosting the local economy and addressing the immense global demand for critical minerals.

The Critical Minerals Conference 2024 was a nice chance to catch up and hear about the advances in critical minerals processing and projects. It was good to see how the industry is continuing the journey from initial testing and exploration to bringing the next generation of producing operations online. Great conference!

Thanks to everyone who came by for a chat during the AusIMM's Critical Minerals 2024 this week in Brisbane. We came away with some great ideas about how to innovate in this space, and heard from a wide array of speakers!

The presentations really showcased how crucial critical minerals are to our energy future and the importance of ensuring they are sourced responsibly. Lots to consider as the industry looks to the future.

I loved hearing from a broad range of speakers outlining the huge opportunity we have in Australia to embrace Critical Minerals for our future, but it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed by how far we have to go! It’s important we continue these conversations to break down some of these challenges. I’m always interested to hear from others in our industry and those that challenge us to think differently.

The level of organisation and quality of presentations was outstanding!

The conference covered broad range of areas such as processing, finance, government initiatives and more. All presentations and panel discussions were informative and interesting.

A great balance of technical and business critical topics covered.

A good range of presentations with a focus on strategy, economics and business. Entirely appropriate for the topic of critical minerals.

There were plenty of great conversations and it was good to see participants from across the critical minerals supply chain.

It was great to make new connections and engage with industry.

Excellent range of presenters from all parts of the supply chain. From mining, process development, finance, government, research and even downstream processing/battery development opportunities.

Incredible presentations with interesting presenters with a great knowledge base. Thoroughly impressed by the quantity of international participants at the conference.

The wide variety of content ranging from top-down politics and policy to highly technical allowed me to choose what was most relevant to me.
