Presentation synopsis

To enable the global energy transition, necessary to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions, requires a 12-fold increase in lithium chemical production over the next 7 years. How can we achieve that sustainably and in a way that doesn’t contribute to the carbon emission problem?

Biography

Sean is the Chief Executive of Green Lithium in the UK. He trained as a Maritime Civil Engineer and is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Sean has worked in process and infrastructure programmes, predominantly in the nuclear industry, for the last 30 years. During this time, he was the Site Director at Berkeley Nuclear Power Station and Programme Director for a programme to retrieve, process and store intermediate level radioactive waste. For many years, Sean has worked for Jacobs Engineering where he led the nuclear new build business, the defence business and post-acquisition integration teams.
