Dr Kirsten Martinus

Associate Professor, The University of Western Australia

Dr Kirsten Martinus is an Associate Professor at the School of Social Sciences, University of Western Australia. Prior to this, she worked 20 years as an economic development and strategic consultant for local and State governments. Her current work examines the global distribution of resources, industry shifts to NetZero, factors for regional competitiveness and policies to address uneven regional development. She has published widely in top international journals and collaborated extensively on industry projects, including reports for Future Battery Industries CRC on critical minerals and battery manufacturing global supply chains and hubs.
