Consep Facility Tour

Consep welcomes Gold Plant of the Future Symposium delegates to visit their world class facilities and meet their team of staff. Consep is a world leading supplier of gold recovery and sampling equipment, all designed and manufactured in their facilities in Western Sydney.

Consep is an Australian owned and managed success story, with a team of over 200 staff across Australia and Canada. They are the current Australian Exporter of the Year in Minerals, Energy and Related Services, highlighting their 30 year long company growth.

The tour will include inspections of their design and project management facilities, followed by a workshop tour where delegates will be able to witness the manufacture, assembly and testing of the equipment that many delegates already know so well. Consep expect to have a range of equipment, including Consep Acacia’s, Knelson Concentrators, EW cells, Slurry & Solids Samplers and Feeders in various stages of manufacture and testing. Many of these new units will include updated features, with Consep’s Process team on hand to explain.

Consep operate a vertically integrated facility, where the equipment is insourced. They design, fabricate, assemble, automate, and test all within their five workshops in Wetherill Park, and then export the equipment to sites all over the world. The workshop tour will allow delegates to see the latest techniques in design and manufacturing, witnessing Consep’s state of the art robotic welding equipment and fabrication shop, as well as inspecting the design and drafting teams’ facilities and systems.

Consep is conveniently located between the conference facilities and Sydney airport, such that delegates will be able to time their journeys for the tour. Consep will provide lunch, where after delegates have the option of staying on at Consep or departing to the airport for afternoon flights.

Consep operate a COVID safe facility with a fully vaccinated workforce, and the tour will be operated according to applicable best practice workplace rules at the time of the tour.
