We celebrated the achievements of women in mining!

A big thank you to our incredible Melbourne community for joining us to celebrate International Women’s Day for 2025!

Over 250 passionate individuals came together to absorb the inspirational address by keynote speaker Lydia Williams, as she shared her personal journey and how she came to represent her country with the Matildas.

Thank you to keynote speaker Lydia Williams!

Attendees at the Melbourne event came together to enjoy a delicious two-course lunch and inspiring presentation from our high profile keynote speaker, Lydia Williams.

Lydia made history as the first Aboriginal goalkeeper for Australia’s Matildas, earning 138 caps and representing her country as a two-time Olympian. She is also the author of two children’s books, Saved! and Goal!, which celebrate themes of friendship, sport, and teamwork.

Jordy Lucas is an actress and media personality best known for playing Summer Hoyland on Neighbours from 2010 to 2013. Before joining the iconic Australian soap, she appeared on Blue Heelers and Bed of Roses and was a finalist in Dolly magazine’s "Neighbours Next Big Stars" contest.

Beyond acting, Jordy is a businesswoman, mother, and the founder of the podcast and blog It’s All Her, launched in 2020 to explore entertainment and lifestyle topics. Passionate about giving back, she supports charities like HeartKids and Whitelion.
