This year, our International Women’s Day Event Series 2025 is bringing together 3,200 attendees and over 220 committed organisations at seven major events across Australia—a powerful testament to our collective commitment to driving change.
Our event series is more than a celebration; it’s a platform for meaningful conversations on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is essential for our industry to thrive, create value for our communities, and meet the expectations of our people. At AusIMM, we lead on the issues that matter—championing an industry built on respect, inclusion, and belonging.
A Record-Breaking IWD 2025!
A huge thank you to everyone who made #IWD2025 our biggest event series yet! This year’s program features an incredible lineup of keynote speakers including Sam Bloom, Rachael Robertson, Turia Pitt, Lydia Williams, Jamila Rizvi, and Fiona Robertson AM. Alongside these inspiring voices, our events also feature industry panels in Kalgoorlie and the Hunter Valley, interactive workshops in Brisbane and Perth, and networking opportunities designed to empower attendees and drive meaningful change in the resources industry.
We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our Series Ambassadors—Sharon Lo, Brooke Adamson, Rowena Albones, Odette Patterson, and Lisa Baptista—for sharing their stories throughout the series. Their insights remind us that real change starts with action.
