What is AusIMM’s International Women’s Day Event Series 2025?

Entering its seventh year, AusIMM’s International Women’s Day (IWD) Event Series continues to expand, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion across Australia’s resources sector. The 2025 series spans three impactful weeks, bringing professionals together nationwide to celebrate and amplify women’s voices in mining. It serves as a powerful platform to address challenges, share strategies, and build momentum toward real, lasting change within the industry.

This year, the series focuses on getting back to basics by reinforcing its core mission: Driving Positive Change Together. The events and discussions will tackle issues like eliminating sexism, promoting equity, and fostering collaborative spaces where everyone can thrive. This year’s theme is more than a rallying cry; it’s a call to action that will build on the progress made in previous years, encouraging participants to engage meaningfully and reflect on how we can all contribute to a fairer, more inclusive industry.
