Marketing Manager - Whitehaven Coal

Brianna is a skilled professional with over 15 years of experience in the mining industry, specialising in coal marketing and customer relationship management. In her current role as Marketing Manager at Whitehaven Coal, she is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, marketing new and existing coal products, and supporting key financial processes such as annual budgeting, price forecasting, and the management of third-party coal purchases.

As part of her role, Bri engages with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including customers in international markets such as Japan, Korea and Malaysia. She also plays a critical role in optimising financial outcomes by developing internal blending strategies and tracking value generation.

Bri has experience in market analysis, shipping documentation and has driven a number of process improvements within the Sales & Marketing function. Throughout her career, Bri has demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills, which have helped her navigate complex areas such as system automation and change management.

Bri holds a Bachelor of Business with a Finance Major from Swinburne University of Technology, has participated in the WIMNet NSW Mentoring Program and is a recent graduate of the Tony Page Emerging Leaders Program. Bri is passionate about leadership development and gender equality, and enjoys mentoring and supporting younger women in the Whitehaven team.
