Kate Bevan MAusIMM

Kate is a dynamic and strategic People & Culture executive with over 15 years’ experience in transforming organisational cultures and developing leaders. As the General Manager of People & Culture at MACH Energy, Kate leverages her extensive experience in People & Culture programme management, business transformation, and employee engagement to drive innovative workforce solutions in the mining sector.
With a robust educational background, including a Bachelor of Business in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Laws, Kate brings a unique blend of business acumen and legal insight to her role.
Throughout her career, Kate has demonstrated a talent for aligning P&C initiatives with business objectives. Her experience spans diverse industries, including mining and manufacturing, where she has successfully implemented performance and engagement frameworks, managed large-scale system migrations, and provided executive-level support.
Kate is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, on the AusIMM Hunter Region Branch Committee, the AusIMM Health and Safety Society and Culture First Chapter Lead (Regional Australia). Her strategic vision and hands-on approach make her a valuable asset in shaping the future of People & Culture in the mining sector and beyond.
