Odette is a highly experienced operations, workforce and talent expert. Odette is the Group Manager, Workforce Resourcing & Recruitment for Whitehaven Coal.

Her team is responsible for the talent and mobility deliverables, whilst being involved in the internal and external marketing activities to attract, engage and retain the right people for WHC.

Odette’s extensive sector experience is varied working across a number of industries including mining, manufacturing and disabilities. Her success is driven by her results orientated approach, with sound stakeholder relationships. Odette is passionate about making a difference to people’s lives and empowering her people to deliver solutions. She is a highly motivated individual, who focuses on team dynamics, their development and encouraging people to realise their full potential.  

Paramount to positive change is having the conversation.  Demonstrating the courage to lead the conversation whilst creating environments that unlock diverse voices to be heard. Empowering others to disrupt their norm will inspire others to value and understand women’s participation and provide equal opportunities.
