Workshop: Dewatering and ultrafine flotation testwork, using the data, simulating your flowsheet
We are proud to host the Workshop: Dewatering and ultrafine flotation testwork, using the data, simulating your flowsheet for the Mill Operators Conference, to be held at Metso's Perth Technology Centre.
This workshop will explore the significance of bench scale dewatering and Concorde testwork for accurate equipment sizing and performance optimisation.
Held at Metso's Perth Technology Centre, you will gain firsthand insights into testwork methodologies for various technologies such as thickening, filtration, and fine particle flotation. Delve into the realm of HSC Chemistry and learn how test data informs flowsheet development.
Workshop Agenda
- Round Robin Testwork Stations
- Thickener using 99mm dynamic test rig
- Filtration using Labox100
- Concorde using Concorde labcell unit
- HSC Chemistry
- Introduction and flotation testwork
- Kinetic parameters and simulation of flotation circuit
- Sizing of an industrial circuit and how simulation can improve accuracy
- Optimising froth launders and utilising HSC in plant surveys
Mining professionals such as metallurgists, process engineers, study managers and consultants would benefit from this workshop. Additionally, those interested in minerals processing testwork methodologies (thickening, filtration, fine particle flotation) as well as flowsheet development will also find the workshop highly beneficial.
Please note this workshop will provide bus transfers, safety glasses and gloves, and catering. Attendees must wear full-length pants, long-sleeved shirts, and enclosed shoes (steel caps not required).
