The Functional Performance Equation for Plant Grinding Circuits: A Master Class
The Functional Performance Equation for Plant Grinding Circuits: A Master Class
We are proud to host The Functional Performance Equation for Plant Grinding Circuits: A Master Class for the Mill Operators Conference.
This masterclass will rapidly empower metallurgists with the knowledge, and the metrics, to increase their plant’s grinding productivity.
In its simplicity, it reveals that grinding circuit production rate can be factored into four basic inputs. These include two distinct efficiencies; one for measuring circuit classification system efficiency, and one for measuring mill size reduction efficiency.
Circuit equipment design and operating variables can be manipulated systematically to maximize both these efficiencies. Rob McIvor will host the masterclass, and address issues and any questions from participants in regards to the implementation of the Functional Performance Equation into plant operations.
Course Overview
- Grinding Circuit Modeling and Measures of Performance
- Discovery and Development of Classification System Efficiency
- Discovery and Development of Mill Grinding Efficiency and the Functional Performance Equation
- Plant Applications
- Closing summary and Q & A
