Workshop

Bringing the ‘Seequent’ experience to resource estimation: current and future / desktop and cloud.

Resource Estimation software has typically been difficult to learn and use. At Seequent we pride ourselves on putting modern, easy to learn, intuitive but technically robust software solutions in the hands of our users. This approach is finding resonance and Edge use is growing rapidly.

In this workshop, we demonstrate how our customers are using Seequent’s current tool set to optimise their estimation workflows with:

  • Tight integration of resource models with underlying geological models,
  • UI driven model creation and parameter editing workflows
  • Sophisticated validation and reporting
  • Model regularisation
  • Project management and version control

Workflows will be demonstrated with hands-on, practical examples.

We will also explore how new tools currently being tested by early adopters will shape estimation workflows into the future:

  • Collaborative cloud hosted block models
  • A new approach to democratise creation and use of conditional simulation models, connecting the ease of desktop workflows with the power of cloud compute
  • Leveraging advantage from defined data formats and cloud data management
  • API accessible geostatistical libraries.
Why You Should Attend

This workshop is a unique opportunity for resource geologists to stay ahead by learning about cutting-edge tools and workflows in Seequent’s products. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with the latest developments and get an exclusive preview of what's next in resource estimation technology. It’s an essential workshop for anyone looking to optimise their estimation processes and prepare for the future of geostatistical modelling.

Course Materials, software downloads and specifications
  • A laptop is required for the training, with a windows operating system and an external mouse to navigate the software.
  • Software licenses and training data will be provided for the course.
  • Minimum specifications for computers can be found here: https://www.seequent.com/help-support/system-requirements/leapfrog3d/
  • License will be set up and will be available for the course via Seequent ID. You will require an internet connection to install the license on the designated machine.
Prerequisites:
  • Experience with Leapfrog is desired but not mandatory.
  • A background in resource estimation is preferred, though not essential.
  • The course will cover fundamentals and advanced workflows.

Workshop

Automating Resource Modelling Workflows with RMSP - Modernising Traditional to Probabilistic Techniques

This one-day workshop offers a practical, hands-on approach to understanding automated resource modelling workflows with the Resource Modeling Solutions Platform (RMSP), from traditional deterministic methods (e.g. IDW, Kriging) to advanced probabilistic approaches (e.g. continuous and categorical simulation).
Workshop

Intro to Machine Learning-Cluster Analysis 1-Day Course

Cluster analysis is a data analysis technique used to categorise and label data sets by identifying groups (clusters). It is particularly valuable for classifying large or complex data sets with multiple variables and for comparing new data to established categories.
Workshop

Practical Resource Estimation with Isatis.neo

This hands-on workshop will show how to implement a resource estimation workflow in Isatis.neo.  Starting with imported drillholes and wireframes.
Workshop

Beyond drill spacing – insights and case studies on Mineral Resource classification

In this workshop we delve into the mechanics of Mineral Resource classification and present a range of 2025 approaches, illustrated abundantly with examples and case studies.
