Alex has dedicated 30+ years to marine innovation and Blue Economy growth. Passionate about energy transition and decarbonising oceanic and coastal industries, he directs the Ocean Energy program at the Australian Ocean Energy Group. Alex is a Director of Fisheries Research and Development Corporation & Regional Development Australia, a former CEO of the WA Fishing Industry Council, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Alex is also a Fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and MIT's IDEAS Asia Pacific SDG Leadership Lab.
