Tim O’Connor is the Vice President of the Technical Excellence and Legacy Assets at BHP.  Tim has functional accountability for Geoscience and Resource Engineering Excellence across BHP as well as operational accountability for a portfolio of 24 Legacy sites across US and Canada in various stages of closure.   Prior to assuming his current position in 2019, Tim spent 14 years in BHP’s Petroleum business and has held a variety of technical and asset leadership roles.  Tim is a geologist by background and based in Perth, WA.
