Kanmantoo Copper Mine Tour

Kanmantoo Copper Mine, operated by Hillgrove Resources, located only 55km from Adelaide will be hosting a group of 12 participants only on Thursday 10 April. The tour will include a surface tour and underground tour for all participants. 
 
Mining commenced from the underground mine in May 2023 with commercial production declared in July 2024. Kanmantoo has quickly ramped up to an annual copper production rate of approximately 12,000 tonnes. The mine is well capitalised with a 3.6Mtpa processing plant and has multiple opportunities to increase production rates, grow the resource base, and extend mine life. Hillgrove is focused on producing copper safely, reliably and profitably from Kanmantoo and has longer term ambitions to grow into a leading mid-tier Australian copper producer.
 
Departing Adelaide Convention Centre at 8:30am on Thursday 10 April, you will be split into two (2) groups to explore the surface, and then underground mining operations with lunch served in between each excursion. You will arrive back at the Adelaide Convention Centre at approximately 4:30pm.

You will have the opportunity to include the tour your as part of your registration to Underground Operators 2025.
