AusIMM named 2024 Association of the Year
AusIMM is thrilled to announce that it has been named 2024 Association of the Year.
The announcement was made last week at the Associations Forum Awards Dinner, which celebrated achievements and excellence across the associations sector. Associations Forum is a member-based network of 500 associations, charities, clubs, societies and other not-for-profit organisations. With 15 shortlisted nominees in 2024, the Association of the Year is the most prestigious award in the annual program and is presented to an exemplary organisation that has achieved overall excellence.
AusIMM was awarded for the outstanding success of our strategy that has seen us significantly grow our membership, expand our global reach, deliver more professional development than ever before, and build our influence as the trusted voice in one of Australia’s most critical industries.
CEO Stephen Durkin and Management Team members represented AusIMM at last week’s awards ceremony in Melbourne (pictured).
‘We are very proud to accept this award on behalf of our global community of 15,000 members,’ said Mr Durkin. ‘Being named 2024 Association of the Year is wonderful recognition of the great work of so many people, not just over the last 12 months but the last several years.’
‘We would like to acknowledge the contributions of the AusIMM Board, Management Team, Community of Interest leaders, and our committees and members who have supported our strategy to provide world-class professional development and connection for our global community.’
‘We hope all members feel proud to be part of an admired organisation that has such a rich history and bright future.’
‘We would like to thank Associations Forum and extend our congratulations to all organisations who received an award or were shortlisted for this year’s program.’
