Changes to AusIMM Member Directory: Make sure your details are up to date

AusIMM is committed to continually improving its products and services to ensure they remain relevant and valuable for our members. 

From 20 January 2025, our Member Directory will be updated to display members’ country (based on their postal address) underneath their listed Branch. This change will enhance opportunities for our members, particularly those outside Australia and New Zealand, to connect with others in their country or region.

If you are happy for your country to be displayed, and your postal address details are up to date, no action is required.

Don’t want your country information displayed?

As a mandatory field, following the update on 20 January, country information will be publicly visible for all users of the Member Directory. If you do not want your country displayed, you will need to opt out of the Directory using the steps below.

  1. Log in to your account on the AusIMM website.
  2. Click on your profile image at the top right of the screen to access your Dashboard.
  3. On your Dashboard, click ‘My Details’
  4. Make sure you are on the page that says ‘My Account’. To opt out of the Member Directory, untick the box that says ‘Include me in the Membership Directory’.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Save’.

Changed address recently?

We encourage members who have recently changed address to log in to their AusIMM Member Dashboard and ensure that their postal address details are updated. To update your postal address details:

  1. Follow steps 1-3 above.
  2. Once on the 'My Details' page, click ‘Contact Details’ in the menu on the left hand side.
  3. Make sure your information under ‘Postal Address’ is up to date.
  4. Once you have made any changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Save’.
