Hunter Region Branch Mount Pleasant Mine Site Visit 2023

A group of AusIMM Hunter Region Branch members visited MACH Energy’s Mount Pleasant Operation west of Muswellbrook on the afternoon of Wednesday 15th March 2023.

The group enjoyed a virtual presentation on the operation by Ryan Fox, Mining Manager for mining services contractor Thiess, assisted by the onsite team led by Thiess Dispatcher Colin Parnell.

This was followed by a tour to the pit viewing area where the operation was explained in more detail. This included a generous question and answer session.
