AusIMM announces partnership with Fortescue Metals Group and Fortescue Future Industries

AusIMM has officially launched a two-year major partnership with Fortescue Metals Group (Fortescue) and Fortescue Future Industries (FFI). 

The partnership is built on a program of work to strengthen capabilities and support professional development; contribute to thought leadership and critical conversations and support initiatives that champion an inclusive and diverse workforce.

Established in 2003, Fortescue is a proud West Australian company, recognised for its culture, innovation and industry-leading development of infrastructure and mining assets. Together with FFI, Fortescue is transitioning to a vertically integrated green energy and resources company.

AusIMM and Fortescue have a history of collaboration and this partnership creates additional opportunities to progress their commitments to industry best practice and innovation in the resources sector.

As the peak body representing resources professionals, AusIMM CEO Stephen Durkin welcomed the partnership stating it demonstrated a mutual commitment to professional development, strong values and ethical industry standards.
