9th International Conference on Sustainable Development in the Minerals Industry (SDIMI)

Invitation to Register

The SDIMI Conference will provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of how social licence to operate is viewed in todays’ society. The conference will offer delegates the chance to discuss and debate practical experiences in sustainability and how the mining industry can move forward in this field.

Presenters will give a global perspective on how new approaches to social licence will be implemented to improving global practice in sustainable development. SDIMI 2019 will welcome presenters from around the world, including Colombia, Brazil, Canada, Greece, Germany and South Africa. Delegates will come away from the conference with a greater understanding on how Social Licence (SL) is viewed in todays’ global jurisdictions and why diluted approaches to SL are causing this concept to lose impact within industry.
