Would you be interested in helping the Kalgoorlie Branch with the preparation for the 2019 Kalgoorlie MetFest?

Following from the success of the 2017 AusIMM Kalgoorlie MetFest, the AusIMM Kalgoorlie Branch is in preparation for the 2019 Kalgoorlie MetFest (Metallurgical Symposium).

One or two Training Opportunities (short courses or workshops) will be offered as optional activities in addition to the main event.  In order to ensure maximum interest and attendance at these short courses/ workshops, we would appreciate you completing the attached survey.

The survey will only take a few minutes to complete and will be used to direct us in what training courses would most interest you.

The Lachlan Branch and Cadia Valley Operations are proud to host this years MetFest from 2.00pm – 6.00pm in Orange Please join us for presentations from our regional sites including Northparkes, Cadia and CSA (Cobar) on operational performance issues and optimisation successes. To participate in MetFest please register via the registration link. Registrations are essential.  

Cadia Plant Tour

An optional tour of the Cadia Ore processing facility will be held on the morning on Friday 16 August. The tour will run from 10.00am to 1.00pm and lunch will be provided. To participate in the plant tour please register via the registration link. Registrations are essential as places are limited.  

Wine Tour of Orange

An optional wine tour of Orange will be held Saturday 17 August. The tour will run from 9.00am to 1.00pm. The tour will visit some of the best vineyards in Orange with light canapes and a picnic style lunch will be served by Lake Canobolas. To participate in the wine tour please register via the registration link. Registrations are essential.
