AusIMM Consultant Society is pleased to present Webinar 2- Business Operations.

This webinar forms part of a series of six webinars across the topics covered in the Minerals Consultants Handbook.

Each webinar (1 through to 6) are to be presented over 6 months and three topics will be covered each webinar. Overall there will be 18 topics presented representing each chapter of the Mineral Consultants Handbook.

This webinar will deal with the broad issues for Business Operations, including issues relating to business planning, financial matters, and risk management. Each presenter will focus on specific issues in the mining sector, and current practices, trends and challenges of consulting generally across the mining sector.


Presenters

Chapter 4 Business Planning – Andrew Job (FAusIMM, CEO and Founder of Plotlogic, B.Eng. Master Finance).

Andrew will be discussing business planning matters.

Chapter 5 Financial Matters – Tom Kendall (FAusIMM, Executive Engineer Mintrex Pty Ltd).

Tom will be discussing financial matters in the mining sector.

Chapter 6 Risk Management – Colin Roberts (FAusIMM, Professor EurIng Colin Roberts LLM, PGDip ICArb, BEng, PEng, CMinEng, CPetEng, CSci, CPMan, FCIArb, FAusIMM, FIMMM, FSAIMM, FEI, FAIE, FAIADR, MCIM).

Colin will be discussing matters concerning sovereign risk and dealing with foreign corporations.
