International Women’s Day 2019 Luncheons

AusIMM and AusIMM Women in Mining Network are pleased to announce a series of lunches in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth to celebrate International Women’s Day in March 2019.

These events provide a unique opportunity to bring together professionals from across the resources sector to celebrate the contributions of women and empower all professionals to continue to build an inclusive and diverse industry.

Guests will hear from entrepreneur Jade Collins, Director of Femeconomy. Jade will present an insightful and inspiring presentation, sharing her journey as a public activist for better gender balance in the workplace and helping women to recognise their own power in the economy. Femeconomy ecourages women to channel their collective purchasing power towards brands that have women in leadership and/or ownership.

Alongside Jade, local panels of industry leaders will discuss the question: ‘How will the resources sector achieve greater gender balance?’
