Please come and join Paul Wittwer, Exploration Manager, Southern Gold Ltd as he presents his talk titled  “The Precious Metals Renaissance in South Korea”.

Paul Wittwer is a Geologist with over 15 years’ experience in exploration, resource development and mining. He has worked on Gold and Copper Projects in South Australia and Western Australia, low sulphidation epithermal systems (Eastern Australia, Thailand) and high sulphidation epithermal systems in Chile. Mr Wittwer has a broad experience and understanding of the full resources cycle, having performed both Senior Exploration Geologist and Senior Mine Geologist roles, worked in Greenfields and Near-Mine exploration capacities and taken exploration targets through to full production and reconciliation. Mr Wittwer is the Competent Person for Reporting of Exploration Results.

Prior to Paul’s talk, we will hear from Brayden Sturm, fourth year Chemical Engineering and Finance student at the University of Adelaide who will give a presentation titled “Key Takeaways from the 2019 New Leaders Conference and National Mining Games”. Brayden has gained a range of experiences through University by being involved with Engineers Without Borders in regional South Australia as well as Nepal. He has worked part time with Ixom Operations as an undergraduate process engineer and as a vacation student last summer with Santos in Adelaide.
