Join the Illawarra Branch for a presentation by Mitch Jakeman, Wollongong Coal P/L, followed by the branch AGM.

Changes have been enacted in Queensland’s mining legislation to ensure that industry fully meets mine and water rehabilitation obligations.  For mines using progressive and proactive land and water management , lower financial and insurance costs can be expected, based on annual reviews of rehabilitation obligations.

New H2O Resources saw this as an opportunity to engage industry about the true cost and value of water and offer revenue generating solutions while the mine is active, transforming waste water into a valuable asset for mines and their local communities.
