The conference will offer delegates the chance to discuss and debate practical experiences in sustainability and how the mining industry can move forward in this field.

Bringing together practitioners, researchers, regulators and civil society. The program will discuss sustainable development in the minerals industry, how the latest technology in mining and minerals processing is contributing towards sustainable mining and why diluted approaches to Social License are causing this concept to lose impact within industry.

Presenters

Presenters will give a global perspective on how new approaches to social licence will be implemented to improving global practice in sustainable development. SDIMI 2019 will welcome presenters from around the world, including Colombia, Brazil, Canada, Greece, Germany and South Africa.
