Southwest WA Branch Calendar of Events
To kick off 2019, the Southwest WA Branch has developed a diverse program of events to satisfy Members’ interests leading with Talison Lithium’s update on the their Lithium operations, followed by Tech Talks on seismic tomography, tailings management and the latest automation trends in the WA mining industry.
The Tech Talk program has been designed to provide reviews of projects and innovations leading to a steep change in the WA industry. The selected topics for the 2019 Tech Talk Program cover all the major membership disciplines offering stimulating presentations of interest to our diverse membership. As this is the Branch’s inaugural year, the committee has announced the initial 2019 program for members to set aside key professional development and networking dates.
Have Your Say
We will release a survey to members shortly, to find out the dates, times, topics and types of events that are of interest to Southwest WA Branch Members. We encourage all members to participate in the survey so we can meet your interests and needs.
Our current program of events are based at the Mercure Sanctuary Golf Resort just north of Bunbury which is central to our members’ geographical demographics, and through a venue sponsorship arrangement.
Consideration for event venues across the Southwest including at operational sites is an option we would like to consider – if you would like to present and/or your site would like to host an event, please email SouthwestWA@ausimm.com.au
