Standards Australia – call for AusIMM representatives

AusIMM are looking for members to contribute their knowledge as AusIMM representatives on the technical committees with Standards Australia listed below.

Standards Australia is our country’s independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit standards organisation, which leads the development and adoption of internationally-aligned standards in Australia.

AusIMM’s role as a member of Standards Australia continues to ensure that we are utilising the expertise of our membership to develop and uphold best practice in the industry.

Each technical committee will work on a few projects each year. These might include revising existing Australian Standards and technical documents, assessing International Standards for adoption in Australia, or drafting new standards as needed.

To apply for a committee please email your CV and a cover email indicating your committee/s of choice to [email protected]

Please read the Code of Conduct for Committee members if wishing to apply

In the instance that there is more than one application at any given time, a panel will review applications to establish a successful representative.
