Patricia Williams B.Psych
AHPRA Registered Psychologist, Member of the Australian Psychological Society and Director of Strategic Interactions.

Trish Williams is a registered psychologist and Churchill Fellow who has a background in education, philosophy, and psychology. She established Strategic Interactions in 1992, to provide psychological services specifically designed to assist organisations develop the resilience and expertise of their leaders through a process of reflection, mindfulness and deliberate practice.

Trish has been working in the area of developing social, emotional learning competencies in leaders and professionals for almost three decades. Her work is informed by contemporary research into neuropsychology, positive psychology and the development of competence in the social emotional learning domain. Her coaching and training approach is based on current best practice in the development of expertise and thinking and on the development of strengths and virtues. Along with colleagues in Strategic Interactions USA she has pioneered the use of Interactive Behavioural Simulations in the development of social emotional intelligence and leadership competencies. She has worked with some of Australia’s leading companies to provide innovative and effective leadership training. She has worked extensively with the mining industry in Australia and overseas..

Trish consults to both public and private sector organisations on a wide variety of issues, especially those related to managing the impact of business changes on social capital, the culture of the organisation and on individuals and teams. She has regularly provided advice, consultation, support and coaching to people in senior leadership positions.

Her psychological work encompasses clinical work with individuals as well as psychological interventions at an organisation wide level.
