Geochemical Studies in the Coromandel Peninsula - The Use of Calcium in Stream Sediments as a Guide to Alteration
Acid soluble calcium is depleted in drainage sediments from hydrothermal alteration centres in the Coromandel Peninsula. The routine analysis of acid-soluble calcium on drainage samples is an economical and effective technique for outlining hydrothermal alteration centres in volcanic terrains.
